Garret Scores West Semi Pro Win at Windham
C.W. Notches 4 Straight Podium Finishes

12•9•07 This weekend's race was a RMR West Division race held at the Windham Mountain ski area in Windham, NY. The race was also a points race for the RMR Central Division Pro and Semi Pro classes. Sara and Jordy stayed home as it wasn't a points race for them. Their absence was noticable in the race trailer and we can't wait for them to return for the Black Mtn. Maine race this weekend.

Garret Mees deserves the spotlight this week as he ran in the RMR West Semi Pro classes and came away with his second win of the season when he scored the Woody's Semi Pro Open final win. Garret outdueled regular RMR Central competitors Lucas Brunelle, Chris Ackerman and Corin Todd to take the win. Garret normally competes in the RMR Central Sport classes, which didn't run for points in Windham.

Pro: Dub Continues Pro Final Podium Streak

C.W. Sirjane knows that consistency paves the way to championships and he continued down that path with third place finishes in both the Pro Stock 600 and Pro Open finals. Other than his third qualifying round in Pro Stock, C.W. finished no worse than third to score valuable points in qualifying.

Darrin Mees ran very well at Windham, but had some bad luck to ruin what was otherwise a good weekend. Darrin has been getting his share of holeshot starts, but runs into the bad luck gremlins into the race. Darrin did follow C.W. across the stripe in the Pro Open final for a fourth place finish. Darrin had a great race going in the X-Games Qualifier as he was closing in on John O'Malley for the lead, but got black flagged when his tether became disconnected.

Shaun St. Onge is improving his qualifying finishes and scored his second podium finish when he finished third in the PowerMadd Semi Pro Stock 600 final. That moved Shaun into the top 5 in the Stock class point standings after two races.

Nate Loschiavo continues his climb back into his 2005 prominence. Nate scored another qualifying win in Stock 600 and made the Open final. Luck will turn around for Nate as he continues to work hard on and off the track.

After Dave LaRose (pictured left) beat up on the Trail Stock guys last season, we shamed him into running the Pro Am class this year. Dave ran in the RMR West Pro Am class at Windham and scored a 4th place finish in the final! Dave scored a 4th, 3rd and 7th in qualifying and looked pretty good out there! Dave's company Progressive Motorsports has been a sponsor of HMS forever and is the go-to guy for your Ski-doo needs.

This weekend we'll be heading north the the Black Mtn. Ski resort in Rumford, ME for the last race before the Christmas break. Weather forcasts look like we're in store for some snow, but that's what we want!
