C.W. Notches 6 Straight Podium Finishes

12•16•07 With blizzards, Christmas holidays and vacations slowing up the posting of our team's results in Maine, we thank you for you patience in waiting for the results (blame Mike)! Our first trip to Black Mountain ski area in the northwest corner of Maine was a success despite the impending Nor'easter snow dump scheduled for Sunday. We added 3 wins, 3 runner-ups and one third place finish to our podium scorecard. Those wins belonging to our younger riders Garret and Sara.

Garret Mees' worst finish all weekend was runner-up finishes in Sport Stock 600 and yet Garret holds onto a 12 point lead in that class! But, it was the Sport Super Stock Saturday and Sunday classes that put the fire in his eyes. Of course it wouldn't have anything to do with a Ski-doo Rev XP awarded to the top 'Doo Super Stock rider at the season end! Even without that carrot being dangled, Garret's sweep of the class only shows his drive to add more season championships to his resume.

Sara Harrison didn't let the prior weekend off slow her down as she swept her second straight Jr. Girls 600 Fan weekend. Sara went 1, 1, 1 at the season opener at Enfield, and continued her drive to perfection at Black Mountain. Hats off to the Black Mtn. folks as the track was the best we've seen in a while. A really nice track!

Like predicted, the weather on Sunday was a mess, but everyone else had to race in it too. So we feel fortunate to have come out of it as well as we did. Preparation brings luck, but it wasn't luck that carried C.W. Sirjane to two more podium finishes. C.W.'s runner-up finish in the Pro Stock final helped him close the gap from first place to just 4 points and his third place finish in Pro Open keeps at the top of the heap... for now. It's a long season and Chris knows what it takes.

Despite being slowed down with flu-like symptoms on Saturday, Darrin Mees still ran an impressive Pro Open final scoring the runner-up finish leading teammate C.W. Sirjane to a HMS 2, 3 finish. Darrin currently sit s in 3rd place in Pro Open points with 3 races in the books.

Once again, without the hard work from Keith, Scanner, Sebastien, Doug and Oscar, getting through Sunday's blizzard would have been impossible. You guys are the best!

One more holiday to endure then we're back to racing when we head to northern New York at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Malone, NY. Mike from Extreme Exposures is getting our new team cards designed and printed up in time for the huge crowds at Malone. Right Mike? What better place to show our appreciation to our sponsors then getting their company names in front of the huge Malone crowd! See you there!

Jeff and Colleen
