3407 After scoring 2 straight Rock Maple Racing Semi-Pro Championships, C. W. Sirjane climbed into the National ranks when he rode for Warnert Racing in the 2003 and 2004 seasons. C.W. scored 2 SemiPro wins for Warnert at the WSA Eastern Nationals in Vernon, NY in 2003, then early in the 2004 season suffered a back injury, ending his season. C.W. sat out the 2005 and 2006 seasons then made his return to his homebase RMR when he signed to ride for Harrison Motorsports for the 2006-07 RMR season. C. W.'s climb back to the top isn't finished yet, but he made ground towards his goal when he scored his first win of the year, scoring the Pro Stock win this past weekend in Skowhegan. Coming off last weekend's two runner-up finishes in Ossipee, C.W. carried that momentum into Skowhegan qualifying number 1 for both Pro class finals. Despite a get-off in the Pro Open final, C.W. still salvaged a 4th place finish to cap off the milestone weekend. C.W. and Harrison Motorsports want to take this opportunity to thank Dave and Karen LaRose of Progressive Motorsports, XPS, New England Race Fuels, Woody's Traction, Wallingford Racing and C&A Pro Skis for all their support to make C.W.'s return possible. These fine companies along with Camoplast, Scott, HMK, SledWraps.com, Mars Insurance Agency, Wing Truck & Trailer and Scorpion are all to thank for their continued support!

Injuries Impact HMS Riders
Harrison Motorsports regretfully is forced to finish the 2007 season without the services of Simon Belzile and Doug Decoigne.
Simon was showing signs of his Championship winning form with steady progression as the season wore on. A hard crash in the Pro Open final at the Ossipee, NH race ended Simon's season. Not only was Simon a threat on the the track, but passing his knowledge on to our younger riders was a tremendous asset for our team's success. Simon scored the emotional X-Games Qualifier win at Windham in December to start the aseason out on a high note.
Doug Decoigne has been nothing but a true warrior for Harrison Motorsports this season. Highlighted by his big SemiPro Shootout win in Schaghticoke, Doug's energy and drive to win was infectious in the HMS pits. Doug suffered a season ending leg injury this past weekend in Skowhegan and will be sorely missed by everyone on the team. Doug was on pace to a potential class championship or two as he sat atop the SemiPro Stock points chase and was 6 points out of 1st in Open before this weekend's race. |
